This piece is part of a Spring Series. I have been working with a colour pallet and focusing on creating texture and interest by painting layers with different media and then scraping back the top layers of paint to reveal the under layers.
The wild flowers is inspired by the green grass, the lawn daisies, crocuses, random blue flowers pushing out in the woodlands near my studio.
