This piece is part of a Spring Series. I have been working with a colour pallet and focusing on creating texture and interest by painting layers with different media and then scraping back the top layers of paint to reveal the under layers.
I have named this one climbing roses as the first layers painted represented roses climbing a wall. The final piece still makes reference to the bricks in the wall.
