This piece is part of a Spring Series. I have been working with a spring colour pallet and focusing on creating texture and interest by painting layers with different media and then scraping back the top layers of paint to reveal the under layers.
I started this with a painting of golden fields. This invokes my memories bright fields of daffodils.
